BEGINNING TEACHERS

Join the ENHANCE program and enhance your skills, build knowledge and collect new resources for your teaching toolkit. You will feel a sense of belonging as you engage in deeper thinking and conversations with other Early Childhood teachers that are also just beginning their careers as ECTs. Feel proud of yourself as you create new networks that will hold you in great stead for the future.

HERE'S WHAT YOU GET...

3 Workshops

New and beginning teachers attending the Enhance program will engage in online professional development sessions. These sessions support teachers to gain an understanding of the expectations in the workplace and provide an opportunity to engage in a collaborative learning environment. Improvisation skills will be considered throughout, as sometimes the scripts do not always go to plan.

Informations

Teachers participating in the program will be provided with an abundance of information to support their progression to becoming Fully Registered with VIT. Information will be shared and there will be the option of joining a private Facebook or WhatsApp group that will offer ongoing support and maintain established networks.

Trained Mentor

A trained mentor and experienced Early

Childhood Professional will be supporting

and guiding teachers throughout the

program and there will be opportunities to

discuss individual needs and goals as

needed. All mentors in the program have a

Bachelor qualifications and have completed

additional training in leadership, coaching

and mentoring.

New and beginning teachers attending the ENHANCE program will engage in professional development, conversations and research projects. Teachers will be gathering artefacts and building a toolkit full of resources.
